Construction begins on new Logan Regional parking terrace

Starting Tuesday, September 4, construction begins on a new Logan Regional Hospital parking terrace, located on the southeast corner of the hospital campus. Once completed in summer 2013, the parking terrace will include four levels and approximately 500 parking stalls.

“We are expanding parking to meet the needs of our patients,” said Michael A. Clark, Logan Regional Hospital CEO. “In the coming years, we will be adding facilities and services on our campus to best serve our growing community. The parking terrace will provide convenient, covered parking to access Logan Regional Hospital and physician offices.”

Logan Regional will begin a second construction project on Monday, September 10.  This is an internal renovation of non-patient-service areas of the hospital and includes seismic upgrades, construction of a new operating room, additional storage areas, and renovation of several internal departments including Engineering and Housekeeping.

Hospital leadership has worked with contractors to minimize inconvenience to patients and guests throughout the construction process. Ongoing construction updates will be available on the hospital’s website at loganregional.org and on Logan Regional’s Facebook and Twitter sites.
