Welcome Darin K. Allred, DO

Intermountain Healthcare welcomes Darin K. Allred, DO to the Rim Rock Orthopedics and Sports Medicine clinic in St. George. Dr. Allred joins our team from Las Vegas Nevada where he served active duty for the United States Air Force as an orthopedic surgeon. He then completed an extra year of sub-specialty training in primary and revision adult total hip and knee replacement. He also has a passion for orthopedic trauma and sports medicine. He had the privilege of being assigned a 6-month deployment in Afghanistan with our military’s elite Navy Seal and Green Barrette- Special Forces units.  Dr. Allred belongs to several professional organizations including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Allred graduated from Southern Utah University with a degree in biology. He earned his medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale. He then spent five years serving an internship and orthopedic residency at Doctors Hospital of Stark County /Affinity Medical Center in Massillon, Ohio, where he became the Chief Orthopedic Resident.  He grew up in Monticello, Utah and is very happy to be back in southern Utah.
