Welcome Grant K. Hunter, MD

Intermountain Healthcare would like to welcome Grant Hunter, MD. Dr. Hunter will be working with our teams in the Radiation Oncology clinics at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City and at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray.

Dr. Hunter graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Utah, making the Dean’s list every year. He earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia, where he was hand selected by the dean of student affairs to represent the school of medicine at the state health forum.  Dr. Hunter then spent a year working at The Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, transitioning into their four-year radiation oncology residency training program and later was elected their chief resident. During his residency he also worked in pediatric radiation oncology at the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. His research has been primarily focused on clinical radiation therapy and has been published in a number of medical books and journals.
