Logan Regional Hospital is hosting a Great Expectations Open House on Saturday, October 27, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Women & Newborn Center. The event is free of charge and is for women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant and their partners.
Held in celebration of the fifth anniversary of the Logan Regional Women & Newborn Center, the Great Expectations Open House will help expectant parents prepare for a successful birthing experience.
The open house includes a light breakfast and interactive mini-classes on:
o Preconception: Good habits to get you ready for a safe and healthy pregnancy
o Prenatal: Best methods to help prepare for having a baby
o Labor and Delivery: New and creative ways to help increase comfort and relaxation during delivery
o Post-delivery: Benefits of holding baby skin to skin, and tips for successful breastfeeding.
