Welcome Claire Hoverman, MD

​Intermountain Healthcare welcomes Claire Hoverman, MD to our Salt Lake Clinic. Prior to joining Intermountain, she worked in Sierra Leone volunteering for Doctors Without Borders, having just completed a four year obstetrics and gynecology residency at East Tennessee State University.

Dr. Hoverman earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio after receiving a bachelor’s degree at Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania. In addition to her recent work in Sierra Leone, she has volunteered her time and expertise in Eldoret, Kenya, in Managua, Nicaragua, and in Vellore, India. Dr. Hoverman belongs to the American Medical Association and the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, where she served as OB/GYN program representative for the last four years.
