Free Alta View Hospital Health Seminar

SANDY, UT — One month after vowing to live a healthier life, many of us may be slipping on our New Year’s resolutions. It’s a perfect time for a free community seminar on tuning up our exercise routines and diet.

Join Alta View Hospital physical therapist Eric Passey on Wednesday, January 30, at 6:30 p.m., in the Alta View Hospital Women’s Center classroom.

Eric is a specialist in injury prevention. He’ll offer suggestions for setting up an exercise routine that individuals can follow consistently while also minimizing the risk for getting hurt. A healthy body is less prone to injury than an out-of-shape body.

“There are smart ways to exercise that can reduce the risk of being injured — both during exercise and during everyday life. There are also good ideas for establishing realistic exercise routines that can be maintained for months and years. That’s the biggest problem many people face: consistency,” says Eric.

He’ll also offer simple tips for making meaningful diet changes, and he’ll take time to time answer community questions.

The event is free and open to the public. No RSVP necessary, but for more information, please call 801-501-2795.
