Welcome Chad A. Spain, MD

Intermountain Medical Group would like to welcome Chad A. Spain, MD. He is joining our Taylorsville Clinic after just completing a three-year family & preventive medicine residency at the University of Utah Hospital, where he was chief resident of the family medicine program.

 

Dr. Spain earned his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine after first receiving a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. He spent time volunteering in the Big Brother Program, helped with the ‘Future Doctors’ program for high school students, and provided free medical care and examinations for underprivileged families through the CARE Fair. Dr. Spain served on the Committee to Promote Primary Care Careers and is a member of both the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.​
