Welcome Cate Varney, DO

Dr. Varney was raised in Virginia before relocating to Utah to continue her medical training in Family Medicine.  She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama in Athletic Training.  She went on to receive her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and practiced Physical Therapy for 5 years in Arizona and Hawaii before returning to Virginia for medical school at the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine on the campus of Virginia Tech.  She completed her specialty training in Family Medicine at the McKay Dee Family Medicine Residency in Ogden, Utah.  Her special interest in Family Medicine is osteopathic manipulative therapy and Women’s Health.  She is an avid hiker, golfer and skier. She, and her family, enjoy the outdoor recreation that the beautiful Utah mountains have to offer.
