Welcome Catherine Bakewell, MD

Intermountain Medical Group welcomes rheumatologist Catherine J. Bakewell, MD to the Salt Lake Clinic. Most recently, she’s been practicing with Franciscan Medical Specialists in the greater Chicago area, and spent the previous two years practicing rheumatology at Seattle Rheumatology Associates as well as the Veterans Affairs Medical Center Puget Sound, while maintain a clinical faculty position at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle.

 

Dr. Bakewell earned her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington, where she continued on to complete a residency in internal medicine, and a fellowship in rheumatology serving as chief fellow. She also trained in musculoskeletal ultrasound at the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists. Dr. Bakewell is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and is board certified in rheumatology and internal medicine.
