Welcome Dr. David Aamodt

Intermountain Medical Group and Intermountain North Cache Valley Clinic welcome Dr. David S. Aamodt.

 

Dr. Aamodt joins family practice physicians Dr. Barton D. Avery and Dr. Gary L. Harris in the new North Cache Valley Clinic, located in Hyde Park, Utah. Dr. Aamodt specializes in caring for your entire family and emphasizes women's health, pediatrics, and preventive health.

 

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Aamodt received his BA in psychology and a BS in Biology from the University of Utah, his MD from New York Medical College, and completed his residency at University of Illinois School of Medicine at Peoria.

 

He comes to us from Wisconsin, where he was a family practice physician with a multi-specialty group practice as well as a hospitalist at the community hospital for more than nine years. He averaged 40-50 obstetric deliveries per year and also offered office procedures of skin lesion removal, suturing, casting, colposcopy, and obstetrical ultrasound, among others.

 

Dr. Aamodt speaks fluent Chinese (Mandarin), enjoys home cooking, sports, and spending time with his wife and three children. Having grown up in the Salt Lake Valley, he is looking forward to his return home to the mountains and establishing roots in the Cache Valley community.
