Welcome Dana Clarke, MD

Intermountain Healthcare is proud to announce the return of Dana Clarke, MD to clinical practice as he joins the Cottonwood Endocrine and Diabetes Clinic.

 

Dr. Clarke has been serving people with diabetes and endocrine disorders for more than forty years. He returns to practice after retirement from the University of Utah School of Medicine faculty (now Clinical Professor Emeritus), where he was dedicated to excellence in patient care and the education of students, staff, and trainees in endocrinology and diabetes care.

 

For many years, he has been committed to diabetes care, education, and research, and he sustains the vigor and enthusiasm to assist those individuals who will benefit from his experience.

 

As the first board-certified endocrinologist in the region, he was a pioneer in intensive diabetes management to achieve optimal metabolic control for the prevention and amelioration of diabetes complications.

 

He’s been personally involved in the lives of his many patients over many years, encouraging their understanding and involvement in their own therapy and potential wellbeing. He works with his patients to create a mutually-agreed-upon design for optimal clinical outcomes in the content of each individual’s life situation.
