Utah Jazz starting shooting guard Alec Burks faced surgery on his injured left shoulder recently that will force him to sit out the remainder of the NBA basketball season. Reports say Burks first bruised his left shoulder in practice in October but has had issues with the shoulder before he was taken by the Jazz in the 2011 NBA draft.
