LDS Hospital and Wasatch Elementary School Team up to Create Unique Hospital Art Gallery; Student Art to be Unveiled on Wednesday

WHAT:
LDS Hospital and students at Wasatch Elementary School in Salt Lake City have teamed up to create a unique art gallery at the hospital that encourages patients, visitors and staff to live as healthy as possible.

The new gallery, to be unveiled at a special “gallery stroll” on Wednesday, April 6, features more than 100 pieces of artwork from Wasatch Elementary students that combine aspects of LDS Hospital’s LiVe Well initiative, which focuses on wellness and prevention, and the hospital’s individualized, patient-focused care efforts. Students illustrated what LiVe Well means to them.

The purpose of the gallery stroll is to give students the ability to display artwork and create a collaborative community effort between Wasatch students and LDS Hospital to help students and their families think about ways to live as healthy as possible.

The exhibit, which will be located on the second floor hallway, will be open to the public from April 6-April 12.
