New Cancer Center Opens at Intermountain Logan Regional Hospital on Friday to Expand Cancer Services for Cache Valley Residents

WHAT:

Thanks in large part to the generosity of the Spillman and Gossner families, the new Intermountain Gossner Cancer Center is opening at Intermountain Logan Regional Hospital. The new center brings needed expanded cancer care services to Cache Valley.

Media are invited to tour the facility and interview cancer experts and patients.

Along with offering oncology and hematology, radiation therapy, and infusion services, the new Cancer Center will provide full telehealth access to Intermountain Healthcare oncology specialists. A new, special support team will accompany each patient through every step of the treatment process. This team includes nurse navigators, advanced practice clinicians, social workers, and financial navigators.
