We work closely with your physician and Intermountain Infectious Disease physicians to ensure treatment plans are appropriate for each individual need. For complex patients, we have an Infectious Disease pharmacist on our team who oversees the treatment plan and any needed alterations.

Specialty Infusion Services
Intermountain Health offers specialty infusion products and supplies to patients. Our multidisciplinary approach starts with specialists who facilitate the intake process, obtain insurance prior authorizations, and help patients obtain copay assistance for the medication ordered. Our pharmacists work closely with providers, specialty infusion nurses, and patients to ensure safe and effective therapy is administered in the comfort of your home. Enteral Services and Nutrition Therapy
Enteral and IV nutritional therapies are used to deliver essential nutrients when a person cannot consume food orally or absorb nutrients through the digestive system. These therapies ensure that the body receives the necessary vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, proteins, and fats needed for energy, growth, and healing. Common uses include:
- Severe gastrointestinal disorders such as Crohn's disease, severe pancreatitis, or short bowel syndrome
- Post-surgery patients who need nutritional support while recovering and unable to eat normally
