GermWatch has continuously improved to help physicians and consumers track and treat illnesses. Recent funding from the Intermountain Innovation Foundry provided the opportunity to invest in a robust infrastructure to substantially improve the service and take it to the next level.

Improved Pneumonia Treatment

When new national guidelines for the management of community acquired pneumonia (CAP) were published, Intermountain’s Pediatric Specialties Clinical Program evaluated their practices to continue providing pediatric patients with the best possible evidence-based care and launched a care process model that incorporated the national recommendations.
