The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located at Utah Valley Hospital (formerly Utah Valley Regional Medical Center) provides quality, patient-focused specialized care to critically ill adult patients using a collaborative multidisciplinary approach. Patients typically cared for in the Cardiovascular ICU include those with life-threatening cardiovascular conditions, those who have undergone high-risk therapeutic interventions, or those who have recently undergone high-risk cardiovascular surgical procedures.

Located on the second floor of Utah Valley Hospital’s West Building, the 17-bed unit is fully staffed at all times with specialized nurses and care providers who can promptly detect emergency conditions and the specific needs of patients. The unit houses some of the most advanced equipment to best monitor and treat critically ill patients, promoting an environment of quick recovery.
