Intermountain Recognized As One of the Top Workplaces in Healthcare

The mission of Intermountain, “Helping People Live the Healthiest Lives Possible®,” was highlighted in the nomination for the Becker’s recognition as a key element that connects Intermountain caregivers around a shared and meaningful purpose. The recognition also highlighted Intermountain’s wellness incentive program, access to fitness centers for caregivers, and professional development support including tuition reimbursement.

Intermountain has previously been recognized for its work environment, including a Gallup’s Great Workplace Award five times in the past six years, Computerworld’s “100 Best Places to Work in IT” in 2015, and Forbes’ “America’s Best Employers” in 2015 and 2016.

“This recognition symbolizes the outstanding service our caregivers provide to our patients, families and community every day. I am humbled by their commitment to Intermountain and for making it one of the top places to work in healthcare,” said Joe Fournier, Intermountain Vice President and Chief People Officer.

The list was collected by the Becker’s Hospital Review editorial team. The publication focuses on providing news and information for healthcare leaders across the U.S.
