Many candidates have joined after excelling in strategy, operations, or clinical roles within health care organizations, strategy roles outside of the healthcare industry, or directly from top MBA or MHA programs.

The Strategy Consultant is an integral member of Intermountain Healthcare’s Strategy Office, responsible for leading highly impactful cross-functional teams and projects aimed at furthering Intermountain Healthcare’s core strategic objectives. We are looking for a strong strategic thinker and excellent communicator who is eager to work alongside a team passionate about solving the most important problems in health care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic engagements aimed at making care seamless, accessible, and affordable to all we serve, and to further Intermountain’s position as a leading health system. Projects will span business units, geographies, and service lines, and will be highly visible to key leaders throughout the organization
  • Assess existing and new markets, lead analysis and strategic planning, and develop and evaluate capital and other growth proposals for executive team and board approval
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and leaders across the organization to identify, design, and implement sustainable solutions to enterprise challenges
  • Collaborate with our Corporate Development, Integration, and Ventures teams to ensure strategic alignment throughout all our markets and businesses
  • Be a leader and culture carrier throughout the enterprise
