Britton Shipp is a teenager from Santa Clara, Utah who was seriously injured in an off-road vehicle accident near Pine Valley in the fall of 2014. After the accident, he was taken by Life Flight to the emergency room at Dixie Regional. Britton ended up undergoing several surgeries and spending two months in the Intensive Care Unit. Britton was eventually taken to Dixie Regional’s Neuro Specialty Rehab to continue his recovery. After a big celebration at Neuro Specialty Rehab, Britton was able to walk out of the hospital and go home with his family.
Britton has inspired the St. George community and beyond with his story of perseverance and healing. Many Dixie Regional employees became friends with Britton and his family during his extended stay at the hospital, and have enjoyed watching Britton’s positive progress as he continues the healing process from the comfort of his own home. We will always “Believe for Britton!”
