He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, having received advanced training to perform allergy testing and immunotherapy. He is involved nationally in both the AAO and AAOA. He has published research and lectured on allergic rhinitis, cystic fibrosis, hearing loss, hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, head and neck cancer, and pediatric airway reconstruction. His professional interests include nose and sinus related problems, allergies, thyroid tumors, hearing loss, salivary gland problems, and facial reconstructive surgery. Dr. Kevin Wilson became the first surgeon in Salt Lake City to perform a surgical implant procedure to treat sleep apnea. The treatment provides a revolutionary way for sleep apnea patients to manage their condition if they aren't able to control it with the help of a CPAP machine. He has a special interest in salivary gland problems and is trained in sialendoscopy. Dr. Wilson is actively involved in medical humanitarian efforts, including missions to Honduras, Nicaragua, Ghana, and the Navajo Nation. In his leisure time, Dr. Wilson enjoys running, hiking, biking, skiing, and camping and has raced in 5Ks to marathons. He is fluent in Spanish, and welcomes new patients. His office accepts most insurance plans.
