As COVID-19 continues to impact our communities, we’re committed to doing what’s best for our employees, patients, families, and communities. The people we serve are at the heart of what we do, and we must focus on their health. There is no finer point to this than knowing the health and well-being of Americans is at risk. Together, we all have a responsibility to do everything we can to save live.
We’ve made the decision to temporarily postpone – and in some cases will cancel – our sponsorship events. Additionally, we are not considering any further sponsorship arrangements at this time. We continue to be a dedicated community partner across Utah, Idaho, and Nevada and our focus at this time is on slowing the spread of COVID-19.
We’re following the recommendations from the CDC, World Health Organization and state governments to limit the number of people who gather in person and limit essential-only gathering to 10 or fewer people. This bold approach to social distancing will help us in “flattening the curve” of the spread of COVID-19. We have urged our employees and community to be champions of this urgent social need.
By postponing or canceling sponsorship events, we are limiting events that bring groups of people together. In some cases, we will work with our sponsorship partners to find creative ways to support their objectives through online and virtual events.
