Women who are uncomfortable with the appearance or structure of their genitalia often suffer from reduced sexual desire, poor sexual self-esteem, or even physical discomfort. Vaginoplasty, or vaginal rejuvenation, can restore a woman's sexual interest and pleasure.

Labiaplasty, or labia surgery, is a reduction and beautification of external genitalia according to the patient's preference. Labiaplasty reshapes the inner lips of the vagina ("labia minora") or the outer lips ("labia majora"). Pregnancy and aging can result in extension of the inner vaginal lips, causing them to protrude past the outer lips. Women with this condition are often self-conscious, and some experience discomfort with undergarments and/or painful intercourse.

Labiaplasty is a common procedure that can be done in the office under local anesthesia. A wedge excision method is used which preserves normal sensation and improves the appearance while restoring a more youthful vaginal appearance and reducing the discomfort of physical and sexual activity.

Vaginoplasty and labiaplasty can be performed together if a patient desires both procedures. We understand the sensitive nature of these procedures and treat our patients with sympathy and care.
