What Sets Us Apart

Logan Regional Hospital is a 148-bed community hospital located in Northern Utah in the beautiful Cache Valley. Logan Regional is a Trauma III designated center and provides advanced technology and highly skilled care to the community. Key services include Cancer Care, Women & Newborn, Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, Cardiology, and Behavioral Health. Our Medical Group presence includes two clinics, one Instacare clinic, and the Budge Clinic, which shares our campus.

Our hospital serves a population of some 150,000 in Cache, Rich, Box Elder, and Franklin counties and western Wyoming. Intermountain Logan Regional Hospital is the official medical provider to Utah State University and several area high schools. With roots that can be traced back to 1914, Logan Regional Hospital and its predecessors have been serving Cache Valley and its surrounding communities for 100 years.

Intermountain Cancer Center – Logan Regional Hospital successfully attained accreditation from the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) APEx - Accreditation Program for Excellence®. APEx provides external validation that a radiation oncology facility is delivering high-quality patient care. APEx is a voluntary, objective, and rigorous multi-step process during which a radiation oncology practice is evaluated using consensus-based standards. As part of that evaluation, we demonstrated our safety and quality processes and showed that we adhere to patient-centered care by promoting effective communication, coordinated treatments and strong patient engagement.

Our History

In 1980, Intermountain Healthcare opened a new, state-of-the-art medical facility at 500 East 1400 North in Logan. We’ve since added a medical office building, the Intermountain Budge Clinic, and many inpatient and outpatient services to the hospital campus. Our state-of-the-art Women and Newborn Center opened in 2007, and our Cancer Center expansion was completed in April 2019. Future plans include a new patient tower coming in 2024 and an ambulatory surgery center opening in the Fall of 2021.
