Achievement in Stroke Care Excellence

Delta Community Hospital has been recognized for achieving the fastest median door-to-CT time in 2025 as part of the Intermountain Telestroke Program.

Why this matters:

When a stroke is suspected, every minute counts. A CT (computed tomography) scan is essential to quickly determine the type of stroke and guide life-saving treatment decisions. During an untreated ischemic stroke, 1.9 million neurons are lost every minute—making speed absolutely critical.

A faster door-to-CT time means:

  • Faster diagnosis
  • Faster treatment
  • Better outcomes for patients
