Be Well is Intermountain’s wellness program, designed to empower caregivers and their families to take charge of their health and improve their well-being. Through the Be Well program, caregivers and their partners participate in activities across different areas of wellness while accessing free resources, earning reward dollars, and having fun with family.

Intermountain’s mission of helping people live the healthiest lives possible begins with our caregivers and their families. The Be Well program offers free resources to help build healthy habits and improve well-being, including:

  • At-home workouts
  • Personal and team fitness challenges
  • Wellness courses and workshops

Spouses and partners who participate in a caregiver’s Intermountain medical plan can earn up to $200 for completing wellness activities, including eligible preventive exams and physical activities.

Be Well partners with the third-party platform Virgin Pulse to host and track physical wellness activities. You can earn Be Well dollars by participating in quarterly step challenges, by tracking your steps monthly using Virgin Pulse, or by completing minutes of physical activity each week in the Sworkit app (sponsored by Virgin Pulse). To get started, follow the steps below.

  1. Caregivers will need to enter an eligible spouse's email information into their Workday profile.
  2. Once a valid email address is entered, the eligible spouse can then access their rewards tracker at Intermountainrecognition.com to view available activities and start earning and redeeming rewards.
  3. Eligible spouses will need to set up their account in Virgin Pulse to begin tracking steps and participate in physical activities.
  4. Login to Sworkit, using a Virgin Pulse login to track minutes of physical activities.

If you are not enrolled in your partner’s Intermountain caregiver medical plan, you can still take advantage of Intermountain’s free well-being resources:

The Be Well spouse/partner portal will not be available for spouses and partners of caregivers enrolled in an Intermountain medical plan to access until March. In the meantime, eligible spouses and partners can still participate in all of the activities and enjoy the resources, and their progress will be saved.
