Our patients benefit from the encouragement and support of visitors. Orem Community Hospital welcomes visitors of all ages.
Patients may have as many well visitors as allowed on an individual unit. There is no age restriction for visitors to the hospital, though individual units may have restricted visitor age guidelines.
For the health and safety of our patients and staff, visitors who are sick should not visit the hospital. Please do not visit at this time if you have any of the following symptoms:
- Runny nose
- New rash
- Sore throat
SEASONAL RESTRICTIONS: At this time, the following additional restrictions are in place in the Level II Nursery areas due to vulnerable patients: Children under age 12 not allowed.
In general, visitors are welcome to visit patients at Orem Community Hospital at any time. Patients may specify visiting times or request no visitors, and we honor those requests.
While Orem Community Hospital allows visitors at any time, individual care units may have limited hours or special visiting guidelines.
We encourage visitors avoid visiting the hospital during shift changes (6 a.m. and 6 p.m.), so our medical staff can properly prepare for their shift.
Visiting after 9 p.m.
To protect our patients and their privacy, the outside doors are locked after 9 p.m. To visit after 9 p.m., enter the hospital through the main hospital entrance. Visitors will need to check in with security before visiting a patient.
