The Intermountain Medical Center Podiatry Residency Program is a 36-month program, offering hands-on experience in podiatric medicine and surgery, with an added credential in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. 30 percent of our residency training takes place within the Veterans' Administration system and 70 percent in the Intermountain Healthcare and MountainStar Networks, as well as in the private practice world. Outside of the VA Hospital, we scrub cases in more than 25 hospitals and surgery centers with more than 65 attendings. This combination provides a well-rounded education, joining those things that are unique to the VA with those found only in the private sector. Residents can easily accumulate their required surgical numbers by midway through their second year.

As part of the Intermountain team, you will enjoy the privileges of working with associates from a variety of heritages with different traditions, customs, and backgrounds. The diversity in our workforce brings a variety of new ideas and perspectives into the company, involving everyone and every department within our organization.
