Pharmacy Residency Program at Intermountain Health
Intermountain Health offers PGY2 residencies in ambulatory care, cardiology, critical care, emergency medicine, infectious diseases, internal medicine, pediatrics, psychiatry, and solid organ transplant. A separate application is needed if applying to multiple PGY2 programs. All application material must be received prior to 10 pm MST on January 2nd, 2025.

Residents receive training in a variety of ambulatory care settings, develop leadership skills and gain experience in education and research
Residents acquire skills to practice as independent cardiac pharmacology specialists, develop leadership skills and gain experience in education and research.
PGY2 residents train throughout six specialized intensive care units providing evidence-based care to critically ill patients while working alongside medical practitioners with advanced clinical skills.
Residents provide evidence-based care to patients in multiple emergency departments, including the largest Level I trauma center in Utah.
PGY2 residents obtain a rigorous foundation in ID pharmacotherapy and antimicrobial stewardship, enabling them to effectively care for infectious diseases patients and educate students, patients and other healthcare professionals.
Our pediatric specialty residency prepares residents to become an integral member of the healthcare team caring for children as the medication therapy expert.
PGY2 solid organ transplant residents receive specialized training in kidney, pancreas, liver, heart, and lung transplantation. Pediatric abdominal and heart transplant experiences are also available.
