Intermountain Health’s PGY2 ambulatory care pharmacy residency provides rotation opportunities in longitudinal and block formats in a variety of clinic settings throughout the Intermountain Health system.

Service Component

  • Staff anticoagulation and transition of care services every 3rd Saturday (12 Saturday shifts)
  • Remotely cover on-call responsibilities for system anticoagulation for 1-week increments every 8 to 10 weeks (5 on-call weeks)

Additional Responsibilities

  • Residency research project of publishable and presentable quality
  • Prepare and present a system-level ACPE-accredited CE seminar
  • Prepare and present a second interdisciplinary CE seminar
  • Develop a new service for pharmacists within the Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Services
  • Complete credentialing and privileging requirements for necessary collaborative practice agreements
  • Develop, revise, or enhance an ambulatory pharmacy service
  • Create or update a collaborative practice agreement
  • Deliver podium presentation at Mountain States Conference for residents
  • Submit a poster at ASHP Summer Meeting
