The Price River trail features more than a mile of paved pathway for walking, running or biking along the scenic Price River. Conveniently located in the heart of Price, this trail is great for a quick walk or ride when you don’t have a lot of time available. This trail is suitable for children and adults of all skill and fitness levels.
The Price River Trailhead is located at the corner of 600 South and Carbon Avenue in Price, UT. To reach the trailhead from Highway 6/191 in Price:
- Take the exit for Carbon Avenue.
- Turn north onto Carbon Avenue and continue 0.1 mile to 600 South.
- Turn left (west) onto 600 South, then immediately left into the Price River Trail parking area.
Restrooms are available at the trailhead.
From the parking area, begin walking or riding south on the paved Price River Trail. The trail turns right and crosses a bridge as it winds through a grove of tall Cottonwood trees. Continue on as the trail follows along 600 South.
Eventually the road turns away and the trail is lined by Cottonwood trees. The Price River comes into view on the left as the trail winds along the bank. Several benches are available along the way for you to stop and take in the view.
Keep following the trail north as it passes by a shopping center before eventually crossing under 100 North. The trail ends just east of the river on 100 North. Return the way you came for a 2.5 mile round trip.
